Dead in the water

Well that's a drastic little title now isn't it? Well, there is a darn good reason for it honey. Dead in the water refers to our attitude when we are being a bummer in every day life. I mean Come on, come on now, how warm and fuzzy are you to be with?
We think we have the luxury to be all cranky sometimes and what we don't realize is that we are creating a big ole pile of buzz kill in the world. "Well, what kind of buzz are you talkin here now Revie" you might say. I am talking about the buzz that we all get when we just fully enjoy each other's company.
If we are feeling less than stellar and someone invites us to share a sandwich or go for a ride, it's easy peasy to make a shift. Take that person by the hand and say something like "oh I am just feeling a little darn dramatic, it has nothing to do with you, it will pass." See, honey? Now you have let them in your world and off of the hook. Make sure not to lay a bunch of talk about your drama on them now. We want it to PASS. Next thing you know you will be laughing and drinking margaritas! With salt for heaven's sake!
