Forgiveness

Believe you me honey, just the sound of the word makes me wanna yawn. Come on, come one now let's look a little closer here. This isn't the hoity toity better than tho forgiveness I'm talking about here. It's about taking a look at that stinking thinking and showing it the door.
Jesus narrows it down for us big time in ACIM and tells us ANY thoughts we are having about ANYONE that are not appreciative, need to be let go of. Yes, that means we have to TRY.
So if we have a thought such as "yikes, that ball and chain called my mother in law is coming over" it can be observed and replace with "she's a good kid getting by the best way she knows how."
This is not a moral issue honey. One way of thinking makes us wanna hit the scotch and the other makes us wanna throw our arms around the old girl.
