Murder Honey

In A Course In Miracles Jesus talks about a little something called murder. Now He's not talking about hitting someone over the head with a candle stick, He is talking about a state of mind. He tells us that if we are the slightest bit jealous, snide or envious, we are bring the experience and guilt of murder to our OWN mind. Can you just imagine how darn guilty you would feel if you knocked someone off? This guilt is unconscious of course and it shows up as the compulsion to spend, drink, smoke crack, get angry, etc.
Now honey, this is not a moral issue, it is just the plain ole Truth. Come on, come on now, you have to admit that the first thought out the gate when someone has good news, is not always happiness for your neighbor. We simply do this because we don't know any better. Well, now we do and if we can just flip the switch and genuinely wish happiness for our bald, retired neighbor who is driving that new Porche, we will know happiness.
This stuff is easy peasy, it's just the remembering that take a little effort. Next thing you know you will be wearing your kerchief and cruising in that Porche too!
